Okay so I’m officially in Europe! It took longer to get to the train station and get a ticket than it did going through the passport booth – the line was super long, but once I got up there, he just looked at my photo, looked at me, stamped the passport, and sent me through. Not even a “hello”, let alone questions about me being a terrorist.
Which I apparently was in Washington – I didn’t take out all my liquids, so they made me send my stuff back through (~_~;) it wasn’t that bad though. There weren’t any personal screens on the flight – that was the hard part. Kidding – I got to read my Japanese novel 「狐火の家」(“house of the fox-fire”). I got through a whole page! Anyway, here are some photos of my room, the view from my window, and a bottle of lemonade I got in the airport. I gotta take a quick nap, but then I’m gonna of out and just explore the nearby streets.
